Dele Momodu Says Wike Aspires To Lead 2 Political Parties

Dele Momodu a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has revealed the political ambitions of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to become the leader of two political parties.

Momodu disclosed that Wike, a member of the PDP, harbors aspirations to lead not only his current party but also another, a revelation met with public outcry and demands for PDP to take action.

In response to the criticism by an online user (TENIBEGILOJU202) of PDP’s silence on Wike, Momodu stated that Wike’s enormous resources make him attractive to most Nigerian politicians, thereby initiating his desire to lead two political parties at the same time.

The user, frustrated with the party’s inaction, expressed dismay on social media, questioning why the PDP had not challenged Wike for his actions.

Addressing the situation, Momodu stated, ‘When a tsetse fly perches piercingly on your testicle, you require all the skills and wisdom to get rid of it. The extraordinary resources available to NYESOM WIKE, courtesy of PDP, ironically, are so humongous and irresistible to most Nigerian politicians, the reason he wants to be king in two political parties, simultaneously‘ Momodu’s analogy highlighted the challenges faced by the party in dealing with Wike’s influence.

Wike, a PDP member, previously went against the party during the 2023 presidential election by actively supporting President Bola Tinubu’s victory.

Despite public outcry, PDP has not taken any action against Wike, who was subsequently appointed as the FCT Minister by Tinubu following his victory in the presidential poll.
