Individuals living with sickle disease have something to cheer up to as musician, Adekunle Gold is using his platform to acknowledge and show support to them.
In a recent performance, the singer who is also a survivor of the condition, acknowledged those challenged by sickle cell anaemia.
Adekunle who said he has been challenged by the condition since birth was grateful for being able to cope with the condition despite his demanding career as a global performer.
The entertainer encouraged those living with the condition to be steqadfast and to remaiin positive in their life aspirations and goals.
As a symbolic gesture of solidarity, he dedicated his song “5 Star” to them during his performance.
