Portable, known as the ‘Zazzu Zeh’ crooner but with the birth name Habeeb Okikiola, had threatened to unleash mayhem on any nominee who pips him to his two 2022 Headies nominated categories.
He issued the threat On Thursday 26th May 2022, on his Instagram account.
The musician who believes his song ‘Zazzu Zeh’ is far superior in popularity to other nominated songs , was hysteria on the ground that his co-nominees might outshine him, made the threat.
The Headies did not take his threat lightly hence a public statement demanding the artiste tenders an apology to Headies Academy and his co nominees or risk disqualification.
Sequel to Headies public statement , Portable took to his Instagram page on Saturday 28th May 2022 to tender an apology to the Headies.
Accompany his apology, Portable said his Yoruba dialect: “The Headies, invited you invited a mad man and you will still see madness. “Bros’. “Bros, no vex, If I fuck up no be me first to fuck up.” Portable said quoting the street famous lines of Black Sherif’s ‘Kwaku The Traveller’.
Having gain stardom as an entertainment celebrity, Portable has been in the news for the wrong reasons. Recently he got his car crashed and has been involved in several street brawls.
