Ada Ameh, the Domitila Queen of Nollywood says she is going through serious mental stress that is taking a toll on her life.
Ada could no longer bear the state of her condition as she let it out on her Instagram so the world would know.
“Everything is going to be fine. I have an issue right now and it is taking my life. I nor go die. We will get over it, we will get over it. I was given a job and I didn’t do the job because I had mental issues,” she said.
It is not yet clear as to the kind of mental illness Ada is suffering from and the depth it has gone.
It is also unknown if the death of her only child back in 2020 cause her condition or other undisclosed issues.
Ada Ameh’s career transcend three decades of active participation in Nigeria movie industry. It is said that the birth of Nollywood ushered her career and peers to limelight, and since then she has not looked back.
Amongst the film that brought her to fame, was the blockbuster ‘Domitila‘, shot in 1996.
