Popular Nigerian actress Ada Ameh is dead.
The actress passed on after she had slumped around 11 pm on Sunday in Warri Delta state.
Report has it that Ameh was rushed to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s hospital after she had slumped, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Her death is coming weeks after she opened up on her mental challenges, stating that she was battling seriously with depression.
Ada Ameh,48, who began her acting career in 1996 playing the character Anita in Zeb Ejiro’s Domitilla had lost her only daughter in 2020.
The death of her only daughter, Aladi Godgift Ameh whom she gave birth to at the age of 14, following an unsuccessful surgery triggered her depressive condition the actress had earlier stated.
The actress who was open about her health conditions said in June that she had an issue that could take her life, but she wouldn’t die.
