Burna Boy and Fireboy win big at 2023 BMI Awards
Nigerian born music giants, Burna Boy and Fireboy DML have both made Nigeria proud again, as the duo bagged another international award at BMI London Awards 2023.
The duo was among the recipients of the ‘Most Performed Work of the Year’ awards which were presented to over 20 songs.
Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ and Fireboy’s ‘Peru’ with British singer, Ed Sheeran made the cut.
Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu with the stage name Burna Boy, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. He was applauded and commend by many for promoting Afro-pop, while Adedamola Oyinlola Adefolahan, professionally known as Fireboy DML, is a Nigerian singer singed to YBNL and has won so many awards.
