Portable abandons Kogbagidi for Danku

Cerebral artiste manager Danku has taken over the coordination of Portable’s career from Kogbagidi, as the singer says his former manager can not be trusted.

The artiste took the podcast of veteran rapper, Jahbless to express his bitterness about his recurring misunderstanding with Kogbadigi.

Kogbagidi, who also has another artiste Bella Shmurda in his management, hasn’t formerly spoken about his misunderstanding and the real issues with the rave of the moment artiste that caused their separation.

It was Jahbless who asked Portable about his relationship with Kogbagidi, of which the artiste took the opportunity to voice his anger and disappointment with his former management.

According to Portable: “Kogbagidi always dey f*** up. Why? I go tell am say boss, all these things I no like am. You know say me, I get [madness] already. But una go still dey do wetin [I no like]…

Poco Lee tell Kogbagidi say, ‘Boss, all these things wey this boy dey talk, you no tell me naw.’ I tell [Kogbagidi] say person dey offend me. I tell am say [Poco] dey vex me, e no answer me, until I wicked [Poco]. Na rubbish nw. Because of wetin you wan chop.”

The artiste also claims that Ijoba Danku, a close friend of Kogbagidi, is now in charge of managing his career because he was instrumental to settling his squabbles with Kogbagidi.

Portable said the reason why he prefers Danku is that he does not put him under undue pressure over the way he dresses or appear, that he accepts him the way he looks and makes him feel comfortable around him, unlike his former manager. He also said that Danku has already assumed the position of Kogbagidi and that Ege Foreign is his manager.

What’s the issue?

On December 21, 2021, Portable took to his TikTok account to express displeasure at celebrated dancer, Poco Lee‘s involvement with his hit record, ‘Zazoo Zeh.’

He was mad that Poco Lee had rights to his song. On most streaming platforms, the record is credited to ‘Poco Lee X Portable X Olamide.’ Portable was displeased by the fact that Poco Lee’s name comes first on the record, not his.

He also claimed that when Olamide brought him on stage to perform ‘Zazoo Zehh’ at the Livespot Festival, Wizkid sprayed him $3000, but Poco Lee only gave him $600.

A few hours later, Kogbagidi, who manages the affairs of Nigerian artist, Portable, took to his Instagram page to post a video of himself, sending the singer out of his house and seemingly cutting ties with the artist.

Nigerian celebrities like Olamide, Yomi Fabiyi, Slimcase and more pleaded with the him to forgive his erring ward.
