The Pro-Chancellor of Baze University, Datti Baba-Ahmed has been unveiled by the Labour Party as the running mate to its Presidential flag bearer, Peter Obi in the 2023 Presidential elections.
This was revealed on Friday by the Labour Party following the withdrawal of Doyin Okupe who had stood in initially.
Baba Ahmed, an anti corruption crusader who had taken the Independent National Electoral Commission to Court over their conduct of past elections in 2007 is also the Proprietor of Baba-Ahmed University, Kano.
Baba Ahmed who is in his 40s was among the lawmakers who opposed letting Obasanjo run for a third term.
