Milk that itchy dry skin

If that itchy dry skin is driving you crazy, go get a quart (1.14lit) milk from the refrigerator. Pour it into a bowl or basin. Dip a soft towel or a piece of gauze in the cold milk, and apply it to your skin and allow it for 5 minutes.

The anti-inflammatory properties in milk will take the itch away. Milk is very good option to relieve itch/irritation on the skin. Some milk contains lactic acid, which is beneficial to skin.

Moisturerize your skin always

For itchy, dry skin, the best moisturizer is one that’s thick and heavy.

If you feel your moisturizer is too thick you could warm it up in your palms first, then it will spread easier. It is adviiseable to moisturize your skin after a night bath before going to bed.

It is advisable to buse gloves to bed over greased-up raw, sore hands and a per of socks over your cracked heels. And lastly, wear a long-sleeved pajama top or T-shirt with snugly fitting sleeves over chapped elbows.
