Easy peasy scrambled eggs

Scrambled eggs are one of the little luxuries of everyday life. They’re easy to cook, not time consuming, creamy and rich in nutrients.

So if you’re looking for a five (5) minute meal that is savory and highly nutritious, this is for you.

Ingredients

Eggs

Milk

Butter/ olive oil/ vegetable oil

Salt

Pepper

Onion

Carrots (optional)

Green beans/peas (optional)

Tomato (optional)

Procedures

  • Whisk eggs, salt, onion and pepper in a small bowl until the yolk and whites are thoroughly combined.
  • Add a little milk, and whisk again, until you achieve an even yellow color, with no translucent spots or streaks. You could add  some veggies (carrots and green beans/peas and tomatoes).
  •  Melt a little butter in non-stick skillet pan (you could use a frying pan) over medium heat. You could also get a small brush and brush the pan with a little oil.
  • Pour in egg mixture and reduce heat to medium-low. As eggs begin to set, gently move spatula across bottom and side of skillet to form large, soft curds.
  • Cook until eggs are thickened and no visible liquid egg remains, but the eggs are not dry. Endeavor to stir the eggs every few seconds.

Now your egg is ready. Enjoy your savory scrambled eggs with bread and a cup of tea or milk.
