Four military officers have been reported killed in Kwale, Ndokwa West Council of Delta state by unknown gunmen.
The killing is said to be causing tension and panic in the area as followup military action to fish out the killers has commenced.
According to a report, the officers were killed, yesterday, along Kwale road.
Soldiers have stormed all the communities around the area combing everywhere for the assailants.
IReport has it that the suspected killers ambushed the soldiers, killed three on the spot, another reportedly died at a hospital, while some that sustained injuries were rushed to Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Asaba, the state capital.
When contacted, Army Public Relations Officer, Major Y.N. Kabara, said: “I’m not on ground. I travelled. I don’t have details of what happened there. I will find out, and call you back.”
