IFM and Birimian partnership on Accelerator x Africa to begin soon

Accelerator x Africa by IFM and Birimian to kick off next month as entry closes August

ABUJA, Nigeria (TVAFRINET) – The first operational investment company dedicated to African luxury and premium heritage brands Birimian, has entered into a partnership with Paris-based fashion school Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) for Accelerator x Africa  project.

IFM-Birimian Accelerator x Africa is to be launched by both partners in the coming weeks as entry for participation is expected to close by the end of August, 2021 as announced in the Birimian’s website.

The project is an innovative acceleration program for emerging African heritage brands in the fashion, accessories, and jewelry sectors, targeted at young aspiring fashion talents across the continent.

IFM-Birimian Accelerator x Africa is going to run for ten months, where ten to fifteen designers selected for their talent, originality, and potential by a creative committee of experts from the international creative scene would emerge.

At the end of the programme, the best creative brands would enjoy personalized  business development support by a team of experts in the main areas of their businesses.

Not long ago, Birimian also entered into a partnership with WSN to increase the visibility of African brands and expand their opportunities for international distribution.  The partnership concern is already yielding result.

An event is  already scheduled by both partners as part of the acceleration program launched with IFM alongside Paris Market Week and Paris Fashion Week, highlighting the brands and designers in the program.
