Renowned choreographer, Kaffy, recently revealed the circumstances that led to the dissolution of her marriage.
Prior to the breakup, Shafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, popularly known as Kaffy, had been married to Joshua Ameh since 2015. 2021 was a turbulent year for their marriage due to inter-personal differences and views to life. It was rumored they broke up during that period as both partners are try to embrace new life, one that is total different from the marriage institution.
The acclaimed dancer divulged details of the divorce on an episode of her Justkaffy Podcast a few hours ago. “Marriage is supposed to be an alignment of destinies driving towards a place God wants for them. And mine really didn’t work out that way. And rather than looking at someone as the problem, maybe you could be the problem of that person,” she said.
“I have always wanted to see the best version of my ex and even taking the chance of breaking up this marriage was also to see that we both grew into what we really are supposed to be,” Kaffy added.
The professional dancer, who broke the Guinness World Record for Longest Dance Party, also mentioned that she was single but not searching; for the benefit of admirers who would want to use this as an opportunity to send flowers to the gorgeous 41-year old.
