On August 25, the cleaner, identified as Mr. Usman Muhammad, was carrying out his duties at the airport when he stumbled upon a parcel containing the large sum of money. Despite being a modest earner, Mr. Muhammad chose to return the money to its rightful owner, a foreign traveler who had misplaced it.
NAHCO management, impressed by Mr. Muhammad’s honesty, decided to reward him with a promotion to the position of a junior supervisor. Additionally, the company presented him with a cash prize of N500,000 (approximately $1,200 USD) and a letter of commendation.
