Everybody loves a good recipe. More so, when it is created from scratch, as a result of creative ideas that just can’t stop running around the track of the mind!

For some persons, creating a new recipe from scratch might be such an herculean task but it is also on the easy side for others.

Whatever category you fall into, creating new delightful recipes should be a thing enjoyed and not otherwise.

We’ll do a post in subsequent time on how to create new recipes easily so that you can get a hang of it.

Meanwhile, shown below is a recipe that was created from the comfort of the kitchen. It is called Egg Sauce Porridge.

Sounds interesting right? It has a rich blend of ofada taste with an in between milky-spicy nature. It’s a must try at home especially for those who are in the enjoyment officer’s gang (lol).

INGREDIENTS

Diced Yam

2 eggs

Diced tomatoes, onion and pepper

Powdered milk

Palm oil (a bit bleached)

Seasoning

Garlic/ginger

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Boil yam until cooked.

2. Mix your powdered milk with a little drop of water and set aside

3. Break your eggs, whisk and pour into the mix and set aside

4. Put your palm oil on fire,add the chopped vegetables and allow to saute.

5. Then add your seasoning including the garlic and ginger

6. Pour in your egg mix into the frying pan and stir until it is all crumbly.

7. Add your boiled yam into the sauced egg and stir.

8. Leave to simmer for a minute or two then serve.
