Office horror ‘Egun’ postpone theatrical date for release

The producers of Egun, a highly anticipated horror movie, have announced a new date for its theatrical debut.

The movie ‘Egun’ that was premiere on November 10, 2023, held in Lagos, Nigeria, has slight change from its initial date of theatrical realease which is now November 17, 2023.

Although the change came on such short notice, lovers and fans can relax knowing it is still a title to look forward to this month as the change is only a few days away and they can stroll into any cinema nationwide for their delight.

‘Egun’ is a horror movie written by Kayode Kasum and Dare Olaitan, the upcoming November title takes us into a particular corporate office that receives an unexpected package containing hoodoo. They instantly receive a call that informs them that all who have seen the contents of the box are bound to die.

Now that they are stuck in the office, they go into a frenzy and start to fight each other as it becomes a survival of the fittest situation.

Directed by Carmen Ike Okoro, the all-star cast includes Gideon Okeke, Omowunmi Dada, Uzor Arukwe, Femi Jacobs, Bolaji Ogunmola, Adedimeji Lateef, Olarotimi Fakunle, Yekini Ibrahim, Vee Iye, Tomike Adeoye, Darasim Nadi, Ejiro Onajaife, and Taye Arimoro.

With the success of Ile Owo, Singularity Media, Film Trybe, and Film One collaborated on the production of Egun, which wrapped up principal photography in September 2023.
