The Nigerian superstar Divine Ikubor a.k.a Rema earned nods for Top Afrobeats Artist, Top Radio Song, Top Collaboration, Top Billboard Global 200 Song, Top Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.), and Song Top Afrobeats Song.
The ‘Calm Down’ crooner was nominated for the ‘Top Afrobeats Artiste’, ‘Top Radio Song’, ‘Top Collaboration’, ‘Top Billboard Global 200 Song’, ‘Top Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.)’, and ‘Top Afrobeats Song’.
Burna Boy, Tems, Wizkid, Ayra Starr, Oxlade, and Victony also earned one nomination each.
Taylor Swift leads the nominations list with 20 nominations and she’s closely followed by Morgan Wallen and SZA who both have 17 nods.
The 2023 Billboard Music Awards is set to hold on November 19, 2023 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
