South Africans Beg Nigerians After Bolt Driver’s Prank Goes Viral

Must Read

A video of a Bolt driver playing a prank on his passengers in South Africa has sparked outrage and apologies from South Africans to Nigerians.

In the video, the driver is seen pretending to be a kidnapper, causing panic among his passengers, who are mostly Nigerian nationals. The prank was meant to be humorous, but it backfired, and the video has gone viral, sparking widespread condemnation.

Many South Africans have taken to social media to apologize to Nigerians for the driver’s actions, with some calling for him to be banned from the platform.

“We are sorry for the embarrassment and trauma caused by our compatriot,” said one South African Twitter user. “Please accept our apologies.”

The Nigerian community in South Africa has also spoken out against the prank, calling it “distasteful” and “insensitive.”

“We will not tolerate such behavior,” said a spokesperson for the Nigerian Union in South Africa. “We demand respect and dignity for all Nigerians.”

Bolt has since suspended the driver’s account and issued an apology, promising to take steps to prevent similar incidents in the future.

“The safety and well-being of our passengers is our top priority,” said a Bolt spokesperson. “We apologize for the distress caused and will do everything to prevent it from happening again.”
