Commonly called ‘awara or wara’ a street food in Nigeria, tofu is processed soybean curd commonly eaten as a snack.

Mostly found in the streets of Northern Nigeria. This ready to eat snack is made by frying slices of the seasoned
curd. It can be eaten as it’s fried, with ‘yaji’ or enjoyed with a tomato, pepper and onion mix.
Aside it being delicious, it is enriched with a lot of health benefits. It is often used as a meat substitute in vegetarian
