President Bola Ahmed Tinubu held a private meeting with the former Emir of Kano and the spiritual leader of the Tijanian Islamic sect Khalifa Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
The close-door meeting was held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at the Aso Rock Presidential villa .
The purpose of the meeting was yet unknown at the time of filing this report but there are indications that the meeting could be connected to the state of the nation and the recent development at Nigeria’s apex regulatory bank – the Central Bank of Nigeria.
