The Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has broken silence on the reason behind the arrest of popular musicians Zinoleesky and Mohbad.
The music icons who are signed by Marlian records were arrested by the NDLEA, in the early hours of Thursday, Feb 24, 2022.
“When their house was searched we found in their possession molly and cannabis. The investigation is still ongoing but we have to trace where they are getting these substances from.” the NDLEA confirmed.
the music stars were seen in a viral video on social media, being manhandled and harrased by the men of the agency.
It was gathered that, Zinoleesky was handcuffed and pushed into the vehicle along with other young men by the men of the agency.
It is evident that the NDLEA are on the tail of drug abusers and traffickers as it is recalled that 21st of January,2021 witnessed a similar arrest by the unrelenting men of the agency.
That operation in the peak of the new year, led to the arrest of a popular Instagram comedian, Sunday Joshua, who is popularly known as De-General by his fans.
De-General’s arrest by the NDLEA was made following the raid of a notorious drug joint at Orchid Estate, Lekki area of Lagos State.
It was gathered that illicit drugs exhibits including Cannabis Sativa; Tramadol 225mg, and some paraphernalia for drug use were found in the comedian’s house as at the time of the arrest.
