Zamfara Governor delivers on healthcare promise, renovates General hospital

The Zamfara State Government, led by Governor Dauda Lawal, has fulfilled its promise to improve healthcare delivery in the state by renovating and equipping general hospitals in all local government areas. The governor recently flagged off the renovation of General Hospital Anka, which will be fully equipped to provide quality healthcare services. Similarly, the General Hospital Maru has been inaugurated after renovation and reconstruction to provide effective healthcare services. These efforts demonstrate the state government’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and delivery in Zamfara State.

The renovation and equipping of the hospitals is part of the state government’s comprehensive healthcare reform agenda, aimed at addressing the challenges faced by the healthcare sector in the state. The governor has emphasized the importance of quality healthcare in improving the well-being of citizens and has pledged to continue investing in healthcare infrastructure and personnel development.
